Iowa Specialty Hospital is committed to delivering the most advanced, specialized care throughout the state of Iowa. In 2012, two award-winning hospitals, (Belmond Medical Center and Wright Medical Center) combined their individually renowned facilities together under one single name, Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics.
Since then, our network of clinics in Iowa has grown to include The Gabrielson Clinic for Women, Orthopedic Specialists, and Iowa Weight Loss Specialists. This comprehensive network of care allows us to provide a wide variety of health services from renowned providers backed by cutting-edge technology and facilities.
With our newest program, the ReDoc program, new and potential patients looking for a provider at Iowa Specialty Hospitals & Clinics can quickly and easily find the right care for them. Our specially-trained ReDoc Coordination Team provides direct assistance every step along the journey to help match you and/or your family with the right provider and location to meet your healthcare needs. All you need to do is fill out the submission form, and our Coordination Team will reach out to you to begin the process. We take care of everything from getting your records transferred to scheduling your first appointment and following up afterward to ensure we have the right fit.

Originally established in July of 2014 as a center for weight loss surgery, Iowa Weight Loss Specialists has since expanded our weight loss services to include medical weight loss. Over the years, our weight loss team has continually grown as we bring on additional providers and staff. We’re proud to provide expert, personalized bariatric surgery and medical weight management to our patients.
Iowa Weight Loss Specialists offers focused, specialized care in surgical and medical (non-surgical) weight loss.
